Tires & Auto Service

Everything below is done in our shop at 554 W Clark St in Grantsville, on vehicles from passenger cars up through semis and heavy equipment. Not sure what you need? Call and describe what it's doing — that's usually enough to point you the right way.

01

New & Used Tires

We sell new tires and quality used tires from the same shop — most places only do one. A used tire that still has real tread left can get you back on the road for a fraction of the cost of new, which matters when one tire is shot and the other three are fine. We measure remaining tread depth and check the sidewall and interior of every used tire before it goes on a vehicle. If used isn't the right call for how you drive, we'll say so and quote you new instead.

  • New tires for passenger cars, trucks, SUVs and commercial vehicles
  • Quality used tires inspected for tread depth, sidewall and interior damage
  • Mounting and balancing done in-shop
  • Replace a single tire or a full set

02

Tire Repair

A nail in the tread can usually be repaired properly with a patch-plug from the inside. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder cannot be repaired safely at any shop, and we will tell you when that's the case rather than sell you a repair that will fail. Bring it in for a slow leak too — losing a few PSI a week is often a leaking valve stem or a corroded wheel bead, not the tire itself.

  • Puncture repair from the inside of the tire, not a surface plug
  • Slow-leak diagnosis: valve stems, bead seal, wheel corrosion
  • Tire pressure check and reset
  • Honest call on when a tire is not repairable

03

Wheel Alignments

Alignment is what stops a brand-new set of tires from wearing out in a season. Utah roads, curbs and potholes knock the angles out of spec gradually, so most people don't notice until the damage is done. Come in if the steering wheel is off-center when you're going straight, the vehicle pulls to one side, the steering feels loose, or the tread is feathered or worn on only one edge. We also recommend an alignment any time you buy new tires or after suspension work.

  • Symptoms: pulling, off-center steering wheel, uneven or feathered tread wear
  • Camber, caster and toe set to manufacturer specification
  • Recommended with every new set of tires
  • Recommended after suspension or steering repairs

04

Suspension

Worn suspension is usually why an alignment won't hold. Shocks and struts control how the tire stays in contact with the road; when they're worn you get cupped tread, a floaty or bouncy ride, nose-dive under braking, and longer stopping distances. Worn ball joints, tie rod ends and control arm bushings show up as clunks over bumps and vague steering. We diagnose the actual worn component instead of replacing parts by guesswork.

  • Symptoms: bouncing, clunking over bumps, cupped tread, nose-dive when braking
  • Shock and strut replacement
  • Ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings
  • Diagnosis before parts — we find what's actually worn

05

Wheels

New wheels have to actually fit: diameter and width, bolt pattern, offset and center bore all have to match your vehicle, and the wrong offset will rub, throw off your steering geometry and load the wheel bearings. Tell us the vehicle and what you want it to look like and we'll work out a fitment that clears. Every wheel we mount gets balanced, because an unbalanced wheel shakes at highway speed and chews the tire.

  • Wheel sales with correct bolt pattern, offset and center bore
  • Mounting and balancing on every install
  • Fitment worked out for lifted and stock vehicles
  • Vibration at speed diagnosed and rebalanced

06

Oil Changes

Straightforward oil and filter service using the oil weight your vehicle calls for. Getting it done at the same visit as a tire rotation or alignment saves you a second trip, which is the whole point of having a shop that does more than tires. Call ahead with your year, make and model so we have the right filter on hand.

  • Oil and filter changed to the manufacturer's specified weight
  • Combine with a tire rotation or alignment in one visit
  • Call ahead with year, make and model

07

A/C Service

If your air is blowing warm, the cause is usually low refrigerant from a leak somewhere in the system — and simply topping it up sends that refrigerant straight back out. We look for the leak first. Other common causes are a failed compressor clutch, a blocked condenser packed with road debris, or a plugged cabin filter that kills airflow even when the system is cooling fine.

  • Symptoms: warm air, weak airflow, A/C that only cools while moving
  • Leak diagnosis before recharge
  • Compressor, condenser and cabin filter checks
  • Best done before summer, not during it

08

Lift Kits

A lift changes your suspension geometry, so the job isn't done when the kit is bolted on. Lifted vehicles need the alignment reset to spec afterward or the front tires will wear out fast and the steering will wander. We handle the lift, the wheel and tire fitment that clears the new ride height, and the alignment that follows — in one shop, so nobody's pointing fingers about who set what.

  • Lift kit installation
  • Wheel and tire fitment for the new ride height
  • Post-install alignment to spec
  • Driveline and clearance checked before you leave
